The IRISPen™ Express 7 is a full-featured text recognition pen scanner. It works just like a highlighter! Simply slide the digital pen over printed information and the text will instantly appear on your computer screen.
You highlight, it types!
Simply slide the IRISPen over printed text or numbers from newspapers, magazines, fax, letters, etc. and the text will automatically be retyped in your computer using I.R.I.S.’s embedded Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology. The IRISPen 7 can also save and import logos, signatures or small graphics.
Works with any application
Simply place your cursor into any application, and the scanned text, numbers or images will automatically appear at the cursor position. It doesn't matter if you use Word, Excel, or any other text editing application or web-based editor. If you can type it in, the IRISPen will also be able to take care of it for you!

You scan, it reads out loud!
The IRISPen™ comes with a smart voice synthesis that lets you listen to anything you scan. You will then be able to scan continuously without having to look at your screen to check if it matches the original document (Available in English only).
Minimum computer requirements
- Intel® Pentium® based PC or equivalent recommended
- Microsoft® Windows® 8, 7, Vista®, XP or 2000
- 180MB of available hard-disk space
- At least one USB port available and a CD-ROM drive
- Internet connection for one-time activation
