The HX1050 ideal for gaming and enthusiast PCs with the latest CPUs and multiple graphics cards, thanks to the dedicated 87.5 Amp single +12V rail, and 6 x PCI-E graphics connectors. The immensely powerful single +12V rail also simplifies installation, as you don’t have to worry about which +12V rail is connected to each component in your PC, as with multi-rails PSUs.

Advanced DC-DC circuit design
The use of advanced DC-to-DC circuitry means that energy losses due to AC-to-DC power conversions are eliminated, increasing energy-efficiency and performance.

Thanks to the sophisticated DC-DC circuitry and design, the HX1050 power supply delivers up to 88% energy efficiency, and exceeds the requirements for 80 PLUS Silvercertification. Energy-Related Product (ErP) compliant
As of October 21st 2009, the European Commission adopted the 2009/125/EC ErP product directive, which focuses on environmentally friendly design of energy-using products. The Corsair HX1050 complies with the ErP directive and has qualified by Intel, which means that the power consumption of a whole system (with an ErP compliant motherboard) in either standby or off mode must be under 1W.
