The AXAGON ADS-1PS active USB converter easily extends your computer with a RS 232 standard serial port.
 

The seamless compatibility thanks to the original chip by Prolific.
Installing the adapter drivers is very simple, just connect the adapter to your computer, and the driver automatically downloads and installs itself.
 

An ideal accessory for your laptop or computer to connect barcode readers, cash register printers, microcontroller programmers, modems, CNC machines, and to upgrade or configure set-top boxes, security devices, switches, transmitters and other devices.
 

The ADS-1PS adapter allows you to set advanced serial port properties.
 

A true 5 mm thick, double-shielded USB cable guarantees stable data transmissions without interference.
A 1.5 m long cable attached permanently to the adapter is sufficient in most cases.
 

The adapter electronics is embedded in plastic and thus form a very durable unit also suitable for industrial applications.
